Diplomatic relations are bilateral in nature
LAHORE: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has hinted at reducing the monetary assistance to Pakistan on account of the alleged poor treatment of US diplomats in Pakistan. Lately, monetary assistance awarded for the losses in the war against terrorism has become the only factor in America’s carrot and stick policy towards Pakistan.
Diplomatic relations are bilateral in nature. The US sanctioning Pakistan while not allowing Pakistan to take any action against the involvement of its diplomats in the killing of citizens here, is unjust and unfair. Even more when it is being compensated with money given for the losses incurred in terrorist operations.
