Why is the West pumping money into education cities in Qatar or on the Malaysian-Singapore border?
LONDON: With due respect to the writer, how can he say the following: “This is because it does not want Pakistan to become another Korea, offering high technology products which compete with those sold by the West”.
If that was indeed the case, then why did they let South Korea become South Korea? At the start of the article Dr Rahman writes about how all these same Western countries were going to help set up universities and then later he says that they don’t want to help us. Why is the West pumping money into education cities in Qatar or on the Malaysian-Singapore border? Do they not want those nations to progress either?
