IMF has viciously assaulted economies of many African and Asian countries, with its stringent fiscal conditionals.
KARACHI: It will not have escaped your readers notice that Mr Dominic Strauss-Kahn, the head of the IMF, has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a maid of African descent in his New York hotel. Given the fact that the organisation Mr Strauss-Kahn leads has been accused of viciously assaulting the economies of many African and Asian countries (including Pakistan), with its stringent fiscal conditionals that result in hardship for millions of people, it is hoped that Mr Kahn, if found guilty, will have many years of jail time to reflect on this and other issues he is directly responsible for.
Let’s hope, if convicted, he emerges a better man.
