Shaan didn’t know that Mahira was there to represent the brand she is an ambassador of
RAWALPINDI: It is a great achievement for the country that Pakistan’s very own Mahira Khan will be representing the country as the Loreal Paris Pakistan’s hair ambassador in the coveted international film festival in Cannes this year. The starlet has made her way to the location and is all set to put her best fashion foot forward. And while the country gloats with pride and happiness, superstar Shan does the exact opposite.
In a Twitter post, the actor trivialised Mahira’s achievement and questioned why she was going at the first place if she had no movie to represent. His tweet not only made him look like a senior jealous of his junior’s achievement but also someone who blurts his opinions without any facts — as Shaan didn’t know that Mahira was there to represent the brand she is an ambassador of.
The superstar has previously also made a laughing stock of himself while criticising other internationally recongised Pakistani celebrities such as Ali Zafar. It’s time that Shaan not only bade goodbye to movies but also perhaps to the media.
