FO dismissed claims about his transfer to US
ISLAMABAD: Lately the high-ups of the country are being questioned over the possibility of Dr Shakeel Afridi’s release from jail after he was moved to Adiala jail in Rawalpindi a few days ago. Many from within the political fraternity reiterated that a plan for his release was in the works.
However, the Foreign Office spokesperson informed the media of his ignorance about any deal with the US about the release or the recent developments in the case. The Foreign Office and the relevant ministries must come out loud and clear about the case and ward off any suspicion surrounding it as the matter is a national concern.
