KARACHI: The government is ignoring Karachi, a city which is Pakistan’s premier industrial and financial hub. Its helpless citizens are enduring prolonged power cuts amid intolerable heat. The common people are suffering due to a tussle between K-E and SSGC. The people as well as industries, offices, schools and colleges are badly affected by the unannounced load-shedding and water shortage. The government should take immediate action to remedy the situation. Prolonged power cuts are going to make life more difficult for the common people in the month of Ramazan which is not far away.
