KARACHI: It is a triumphant moment for both the military and civilian authorities in the Dir region that after 10 years the law and order situation in the area is stable enough to be handed over to the police and local security forces. The military operations conducted in the area during the past decade have not only led to the end of militancy in the region but the forces have also actively participated in the restoration of infrastructure and civilian placements back to life.
Hence, this successful outcome is the result of a well-coordinated working equation between the civil and military leadership of the country.
