Additional tuition fee

Letter April 04, 2018
This only adds to the financial burden of parents who are caught up between the two institutions

KARACHI: Every year private schools in Sindh ignore the directives issued by the provincial government. An identical situation exists all over Pakistan. Often, private schools’ associations back these schools for their unjustified demands, and one among many is the annual increase in the tuition fee of these schools. The recent violation by private schools in Sindh that has caught everyone’s attention is the charging of tuition fee for the months of June and July.

Despite the Sindh government issuing a directive asking private schools to refrain from charging the fees, they have done so. And this only adds to the financial burden of parents who are caught up between the two institutions — the provincial government and private schools.
