
Regardless of the verdict issued, the conduct of an MNA should be in line with the party policies and its directives
LAHORE: For reasons best known to the Election Commission of Pakistan and the courts, disgruntled PTI leader Ayesha Gulalai — who attempted to sully the image of the party — the two aforementioned institutions have once again rejected the PTI’s petition that sought its MNA’s disqualification on the grounds of her abstention from voting for PTI-backed Sheikh Rasheed following Nawaz Sharif’s ouster. However, regardless of the verdict issued, the conduct of an MNA should be in line with the party policies and its directives.
