ISLAMABAD: A news report in The Express Tribune states of America’s and Pakistan’s engagement in dialogue and diplomatic efforts to resolve the issues between the two countries. The report also mentions of US admission of Pakistan’s efforts in curbing terrorist groups alongside the softening of its posture towards Pakistan. But as a matter of fact, the statements are the comments the Foreign Office mostly makes whenever it is inquired about any developments in the relationship of the two.
Hence, unless a significant development is observed in the improvement of the situation, the comments from the FO shall be regarded as part of the procedural formality of addressing the media.
