No dance in schools

Letter March 13, 2018
The move is probably one of its kind

HYDERABAD: The Punjab government has banned dancing in public and private schools of the province, on the pretext of the practice being immoral and against religious teachings.  The move is probably one of its kind where the government without specifying any age group or form of dancing has ruled the whole exercise immoral, assumingly even the dance on kindergarten and primary level jingles in schools.

The Punjab government should reconsider its decision and not ban the whole dance-cum-exercise in the schools of the province.
