Deepening of row between the PML-N and judiciary has reached new levels and has become more personal
LAHORE: The deepening of the row between the PML-N and the judiciary has reached new levels and has become more personal as the judiciary criticises the government over its performance and ministers choose to respond to it through more criticism of the judiciary. The most recent example of this is that the chief justice’s recent comment on health issues in Punjab, didn’t sit well with Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal. This could possibly be due to the fact that the judiciary has lately been delivering what the ruling party calls ‘anti-PML-N’ verdicts — setting the stage for disaffection.
