PML-N-backed independent candidates won most of the seats in the Senate for which elections were held
LAHORE: The fact that the PML-N-backed independent candidates won most of the seats in the Senate for which elections were held on March 3 speaks volumes for the power wielded by the ruling party, and no pressure put on them either by political parties or the judiciary can stop them from winning the next general elections. It is important for everyone to realise that the PML-N has made a name for itself for more than three decades and parties like the PTI can do little to challenge them unless the latter prove that they can work for welfare of the common people.
