A country is being shred apart with its people losing their lives and nothing seems to be done to stop it
ISLAMABAD: The war in Syria has been taking lives of civilians day after day as the brutal attacks continue but the international community seems to be unperturbed. Children as little as a few months old, sometimes just days old are being brutally killed and all the people and the UN can do is send in their condolences and condemn the attacks without joining forces to take immediate steps and put pressure on the countries involved in the war to stop it. A country is being shred apart with its people losing their lives and nothing seems to be done to stop it.
Why is it that the UN — a body created to maintain international order and cooperation — is also unable to mediate between the countries involved in this brutal war? Perhaps, some lives matter less and Syrians seem to be on this unfortunate list.
