KARACHI: According to a recent news report, Pakistan will make use of advanced machinery and technology to eradicate polio from the country. The advanced mechanism for diagnosis of polio virus will be placed at the national emergency operation centre. The initiative is likely to help with tracking down reasons behind cases of the polio virus still being reported across the country, despite the countless polio drives conducted for its eradication. As refugees and migrants from Afghanistan have been identified as one probable cause, the new mechanism can further help in the identification of the aforesaid.
