Syria is bleeding

in the case of Syria, the worst is the fact that three major and powerful Muslim nations, pitted against each other

LAHORE: Lately, Syria has become the new battle ground for states vying to control or eliminate the perceived threats from one another. Russia, the US, Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, all have their own strategically-motivated objectives that they attempt to achieve by brutally killing a significant number of civilians every day.

Syria’s fate is no different than Afghanistan’s, Yemen’s or Iraq’s; all these too once served the same purpose for all the powerful states involved. Albeit, in the case of Syria, the worst is the fact that three major and powerful Muslim nations, pitted against each other, have opted for no different approach to the resolution of the conflict.
