Top leadership of the ruling party has decided to name Shehbaz Sharif as its acting president
QUETTA: Proving some of its political acumen, the top leadership of the ruling party has decided to name Shehbaz Sharif as its acting president. Unexpectedly, the party has not chosen Maryam Nawaz or anyone from her camp for the post of the party head. Though no official announcement has been made yet, the decision will certainly play a role in mending the rupture between top figures from the party, previously known to have played important roles before Mayam Nawaz took over the party’s central command.
The decision will prove favourable for the party not just internally but as well as in improving its ties with other political parties.
