These MPAs also announced their resignations from their previous parties, yet never submitted them
KARACHI: The lack of implementation of regulations and code of conduct for the members of the legislatures of the country has reached the point where members attend sessions of their respective houses whenever they wish to. Recently, members of the PTI and the MQM-P, who joined the PSP, attended a session of the Sindh Assembly after a long absence. These MPAs also announced their resignations from their previous parties, yet never submitted them.
While things being unclear as to their status as members of a particular party these members have attended the assembly session. Obviously, it is the poor implementation of the regulations in the houses that has resulted in such a situation. The speaker of the house must take action on the matter and seek the resignation of these members.
