Arab League inaction

Letter May 08, 2011
Now no one shall complain of inaction on the part of these prestigious organisations.

SAUDI ARAB: Among ordinary citizens, there is a lot of despair and anguish on the inaction by the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) and the Arab League in the context of ongoing political turmoil in several Middle Eastern countries. At last, one organisation has come out with a clear plan to address these issues. The proposed summit meeting announced by an Arab League official will take place in Iraq on March 2012. By this yardstick, the OIC may also propose to conduct its summit meeting, if ever it is of any worth to be convened, by the next decade. Now no one shall complain of inaction on the part of these prestigious organisations.

In the meantime, individual countries shall be at liberty to resolve their issues either on their own or invite the UN and western forces to resolve them on their behalf.
