To resolve the issue, government and court must avoid a clash with the young group
KARACHI: Islamia College in Karachi is one of the old government educational institutions that has imparted knowledge to thousands of people over the years and continues to do so. Recently, clashes erupted between students and the college administration when the court deployed the police on the college premises alongside the appointment of a bailiff. The latter resisted and protested against handing over the management of the college to Islamic Education Trust.
The dispute is between the students and the management of the college. To resolve it, the government and the court must avoid a clash with a group which does not only lack any power against them but are also much younger in age. It is important to initiate a dialogue and negotiations with the students instead of any power instigated action against them.
