RAWALPINDI: With regard to the raid in Abbottabad on May 1, in developed, self-respecting societies after such debacles, heads roll and those responsible either resign or are shown the door. That is not likely to happen here anytime soon, which is a pity. Ayesha Jalal was right in saying that “our country lacks critical historic precedence”.
