"The possibility of political connections in the case cannot be ruled out"
KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency stopped police official Rao Anwar from leaving the country at 2am a couple of days ago. But since then the police official has reportedly gone into hiding and the Supreme Court has directed the IG Sindh to arrest him. The official seems to be on the run. The possibility of political connections in the case cannot be ruled out. Despite being named in numerous cases, Rao Anwar had continued to work allegedly with the backing of major political parties in Sindh.
