ISLAMABAD: Now that Osama bin Laden is dead, one hopes that the US Army will pull out of the region. One of its primary aims for coming to Afghanistan was to capture, dead or alive, bin Laden, and that has now been achieved. While US President Barack Obama said that bin Laden was responsible for the deaths of thousands of people, he perhaps forgot that his own military has caused the deaths of thousands in Afghanistan, as well as Iraq.
Also, I wonder what the government of Pakistan has to say about the fact that military personnel of a foreign country carried out the operation on Pakistani soil.
