I suggest that the government should ban any talk of imposing income tax on agricultural income.
KARACHI: This is with reference to the finance minister’s recent remarks on whether a tax should be levied or not on agricultural income. I suggest that the government should ban any talk of imposing income tax on agricultural income. Instead, we should sympathise with our feudals, who sit in the assemblies, especially since many of them claim that they don’t own any cars. Rather than taxing their incomes, they should be given free vehicles, houses, clothes, food, electricity, gas and all other necessities.
