Nations that support terrorism as part of their policy are outside the pale of civilised nations.
WASHINGTON, DC: This is with reference to Lt-General (retd) Asad Durrani’s article of April 27 titled “God bless WikiLeaks”. Terrorism is not a technique of war, at least not as practiced by nations that obey the laws of war. Nor can it be a legitimate policy: It is unconscionable and contrary to the laws of war to deliberately target innocent people.
Nations that support terrorism as part of their policy are outside the pale of civilised nations. I marvel that the general can defend such actions.
