Letter December 25, 2017
Let’s all congratulate Pakistani student Tuaseen Zafar for winning a bronze medal

TURBAT: Let’s all congratulate Pakistani student Tuaseen Zafar for winning a bronze medal at the 14th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO). According to a report, six Pakistani students participated in the IJSO 2017 which was held in the Netherlands in December and the student who got the award is from Fauji Foundation School, Chakwal. A news report in The Express Tribune stated that this time in IJSO, for the year 2017 over 300 students from different countries represented in the fields of biology, chemistry and physics. Let me clear that the competition is held in the first week of December every year, in different countries with around 50 member countries participating in it every year and the purpose is to introduce under 16 students to an international network of science enthusiasts and increase the interest in natural sciences.

It is a movement of pride and joy for all Pakistanis as the young boy has not just earned a name for him but has made Pakistanis extremely proud.
