Remembering Junaid Jamshed

December 7th 2017 marks one year of the fatal PK-661 plane crash

KARACHI: December 7th 2017 marks one year of the fatal PK-661 plane crash. Together with the 48 passengers and crew members, Pakistan also lost one of its most patriotic national and religious scholars Junaid Jamshed.

Junaid Jamshed started his career at a very young age with his musical band, Vital Signs, that in no time created a cult following for itself, and gave the Pakistani music industry back-to-back musical hits, which even today are irreplaceable.

On leaving the music industry, the singer started with his own clothing line followed by soulful renditions of religious verses and proved his mettle in both domains. He will continue to serve as a role model to countless people.

Junaid Jamshed’s naats as well as his music enjoy equal popularity.
