Spreading awareness about informed use of social media apps is the need of the hour
KARACHI: According to a report in this newspaper, easy accessibility to social media and online apps has led to a rise in HIV/AIDS in Pakistan. The dilemma comes less shockingly as due to the lack of awareness and information about appropriate use of online sources, misuse is likely to increase.
However, the case will effectively counter all the efforts made by the health department towards the control of the disease, if one of the most important above-mentioned reasons remain undiscussed. So spreading awareness about informed use of social media apps is the need of the hour.
