Leader who vilifies people out of hate and prejudice lacks the leadership qualities of one who is loved by his people
ONTARIO, CANADA: I wasn’t surprised to see President Trump retweeting anti-Muslim, hateful propaganda. Mr Trump seems to have lost his political acumen. But it is disappointing and utterly irresponsible for Prime Minister May to be still looking forward to welcoming a leader who openly instigates hateful sentiments against Muslims.
In doing so, not only the bigot president has shown contempt towards the Muslims, Prime Minister May has also demonstrated that she doesn’t give much consideration to the sentiments of peaceful and law-abiding Muslim citizens who make significant contributions to the British society. Great Britain’s prime minister doesn’t have to listen to Mr Trump in his mission to make the country great again. Britain is already great.
A leader who vilifies people out of hate and prejudice lacks the leadership qualities of one who is loved by his people.
Great Britain should cancel this state visit in order to send a strong message not only to Trump but to all those who spew hatred, that the country doesn’t tolerate such venomous messages which only create divide.
