It goes without saying that a democratic government even at its worst is the most desired form of government
HYDERABAD: Internal turmoil and individual issues could not have done what the possibility of a technocrat government has done, that is, bring the PML-N and the PPP together to avert any situation or crisis that could lead to the aforementioned.
However, the two, as of now, will only cooperate and support each other at parliamentary level. They will work together on a strategy towards delimitation of constituencies, accountability and other crucial matters in Parliament. As previously PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari denied any support for the crisis-stricken PML-N, despite Nawaz Sharif having asked Malik Riaz to act as a mediator in defusing the tense relations between the two, the possibility of any real cooperation seems far from reality.
It goes without saying that a democratic government even at its worst is the most desired form of government. The common people can for the time being expect some good out of the alliance of the two political opponents.
