KARACHI: This is with reference to Dr Tariq Rahman’s article of April 25 titled “Is the ban on the veil justified?” Clearly, too much energy, time, ink, paper, pixels and what not have been wasted on this issue. The law has been imposed and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. France can make laws for its people and I am still trying to figure out why we in Pakistan are getting so angry over this law. How would we respond if people in France were to comment on our laws?
And if the Muslims living there think that they cannot live with this ban, they shouldn’t have emigrated there in the first place.
