The incident is just another instance among the many accidents that show, how bus drivers escape the crime scene
KARACHI: A traffic accident on MA Jinnah Road, Karachi killed a six-year-old girl as her father sustained injuries and is currently under treatment in a trauma centre. The accident took place on Friday, November 24th during the early hours of the morning when both were on their way to the girl’s school. Two buses in an attempt to take over the other drove at high-speed and ran over the girl after she fell on the road when the bus and the bike initially collided.
The incident is just another instance among the many accidents that show how bus drivers, despite putting dozens at risk manage to escape the crime scene after an accident and how the ignorant masses react to any of such situations by putting public property on damage.
As the two bus drivers have not been arrested yet, the progress made in the case will also put the effectiveness of the CCTV cameras placed by the local government to control crime and road accidents on test.
