ENGLAND: Through this newspaper I would like to extend my greatest warmth to Akbar Ahmed for highlighting Dina’s interviews. What was particularly striking was reading Dina’s letters to her father, which reflects the love and affection they shared with each other as daughter and father. There should be an official day to honour Dina and the flag should be lowered to acknowledge and value the sacrifices which the daughter has gone through. After all, Muhammad Ali Jinnah won all the battles in achieving Pakistan against the British, the Hindus, and above all the Muslim mullahs.
It is vital that we remember that Pakistanis are Pakistani and the rest has nothing to do with the business of the state. Today many people are critical of Dina but they do not understand they are criticising a child of a leader who suffered a lot in order to give them a life and opportunities which they are enjoying in Pakistan and outside Pakistan. I think we should call Dina a daughter of Pakistan. Well done, Akbar, in this and in all his work to build peace and harmony among the nations. Long live the reality and philosophy of the Quaid and the passion of Akbar to see one world with one voice and no animosity or hatred.
