KARACHI: For the past several weeks, the people of Karachi have been facing a problem due to prolonged construction work near Nipa Chowrangi. The inordinate delay in construction work of the road is causing a lot of inconvenience to the people, resulting in traffic jams during the peak office hours while being equally unsafe during the night.
The road was already one of the busiest owing to much traffic and now due to the construction work it takes longer than usual to reach the desired destination. On the other hand, the construction work is being halted on weekends; however, more could be done on weekends due to a low traffic load.
The authorities concerned are therefore requested to look into the matter and ensure completion of work without any further delay.
