Climate change has already shown its severe impacts in the form of heatwaves in Pakistan
QUETTA: According to a study published by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Pakistan is one among 10 South Asian countries that are likely to face severe climatic conditions and consequently an increased death toll in the next 30 years.
Climate change has already shown its severe impacts in the form of heatwaves in Pakistan that has mostly hit the provinces of Sindh and Punjab in the past few years. However, no important steps to counter the climate change have been taken by the government or other authorities concerned. The government should act before much damage is done.
