Both Nadir Hassan and Avirook Sen need to leave Shahid Afridi alone.
KARACHI: With apologies to the headline used by Nadir Hassan for his article, I would say that both he and Avirook Sen need to leave Shahid Afridi alone. I must say that he is being vilified on the editorial pages of your newspaper for having said what many Pakistanis believe to be the case. After all, compare the frosty reception that our cricketers and supporters received in Mohali to what the Indian cricket team got when it last came to Pakistan. Each and every run scored by Sachin Tendulkar and Co. was cheered on by Pakistani fans. However, in Mohali, every time Pakistan hit a four or got a wicket, the crowd reacted as if someone had just died.
