Sindh has not brought any significant socioeconomic change in the province when compared to other provinces
NAWABSHAH: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has proven to be the most dynamic and vibrant political party of the country, but the current leadership of this party has shattered the glorious past of the party with no hope of reemergence in the future. Out of line and inept performance of the PPP during their 10 years of constant rule over Sindh has not brought any significant socioeconomic change in the province when compared to other provinces, like Punjab and K-P where parties like the PML-N and the PTI are working day and night for the wellbeing the people. On the other hand, conditions in Sindh are paradoxical.
Political leadership in Sindh led by the PPP has miserably failed to deliver. Rampant set ups in organisations, corruption, stalled agricultural progress, declined delivery of modern education and equal to none health facilities intensely reveal the political failure of Zardari-led group of feudalists in the province. Punjab and K-P are centres of comprehensive development in almost all sectors set to thrive in the general elections 2018, and they have put all their efforts to directly benefit the people of both provinces. On the contrary, all this seems lacking in political rulers of Sindh; this will inevitably harm both the rulers and the ruled here. Favouritism, nepotism and other vices have cracked all institutions and organisations of the province, such a performance has compelled the people of Sindh to seek an alternative political rival against the PPP that can save them from destruction.
