History has been made with the Pakistan entering the final for the first time in 20-year history of the ICC trophy
ISLAMABAD: Exciting, stressing and heart wrenching are the words that come to mind when one thinks about the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 finals. In an unexpected turn of events, June 18th will witness the final between archrivals Pakistan and India.
For Pakistan, history has been made with the green side entering the final for the first time in the 20-year history of the ICC trophy, but for India the stakes are much higher. Not only do they have to defend the title against its foe but also maintain their winning streak against Pakistan. As the green side has left everyone in shock after its chance-win against Sri Lanka and a well-thought out game plan against England, staying true to their ‘unpredictable’ label, it’s impossible to say who will win the trophy. But the fans on both sides are sure in for a ride of heightened emotions and a nerve-wracking 50 overs.
