If they don’t understand this, they should try and put themselves in the shoes of those who need such care.
KARACHI: This is for all the doctors protesting either in Punjab or in any other part of the country. I respect them and understand their demands, and I want the government to meet them as soon as possible because the strike is literally costing lives. Doctors in government jobs work long hours and in terrible conditions, but their first and foremost responsibility is to preserve human life and treat those who need medical care.
I appeal to all doctors on strike to keep this in mind and tend to at least those who need urgent medical attention. And if they don’t understand this, they should try and put themselves in the shoes of those who need such care.
