Amin Jan Naim's writings are always thought provoking
ISLAMABAD: This is in response to the article published on May 26th ‘Enhancing the Pakistani mind’, by Amin Jan Naim. His writings are always thought provoking. Courage, desire and reason have been misinterpreted and therefore misdirected for use in our society.
Structure and order contribute to aesthetics and perfection but are dismissed using the culture card to reject anything perceived as Western. As for desire, it springs in every heart but for all the wrong reasons. And reason is something we reject with a degree of vehemence as it dilutes passion that glorious force with its adrenaline rush, which redeems our honour and at once transforms us into heroes.
