Every Islamabad residential sector is proposed to be connected with Metro Bus facility except G-15 and F-15
ISLAMABAD: It is a matter of great pleasure and satisfaction for the citizens of the whole country, especially for the citizens of Islamabad that government has decided to construct a Metro Bus track on Kashmir Highway right from Peshawar Morr to New Islamabad International Airport. Every Islamabad residential sector on this area is proposed to be connected with Metro Bus facility except G-15 and F-15 sectors, despite the fact that the G-15 sector faces the Kashmir Highway link road.
We the residents of sectors G-15 and F-15 are unable to understand this step, the step-motherly attitude of the government authorities meted out to us. We want to ask the authorities concerned that are we not the citizens of this country and are these sectors not situated in Islamabad? Though F-15 is not facing the Kashmir Highway link road yet, the G-15 is very much situated on it and the population of 10,000 must not be ignored to avail the Metro Bus facility by not establishing a bus station in G-15. In the present situation the residents of both sectors will have to travel a distance of 10kms to board on Metro at Badhana village bus station.
Here, I would also like to mention that the authorities concerned have proposed bus stations even in those areas where there is no population but ignored the thickly-populated sectors of G-15 and F-15.
