Clarification: letter of vendetta

Letter May 30, 2017
LRBT Lahore Hospital vehemently denies any wrongdoing

This is with reference to a letter published on 27 May 2017 about certain practices of LRBT under the title “Saving charitable organisations from corruption”.

At the very outset, the LRBT Lahore Hospital vehemently denies any wrongdoing and attributes this letter to a person who has been removed from service for not adhering to the rules & regulations of the hospital. These include improper dress, coming late, not performing duties properly, instigating some colleagues not to follow the instructions of the management and has used the name of his very close relative to vent his vendetta against a reputable organisation.

We at LRBT are making all efforts to further improve its eye care services all over the country by providing state of the art services to the poor/needy patients absolutely free of charge. This is evident from our annual report. All purchases for LRBT are always done as per the rules and regulations which is evident from our financial statement in our annual reports.
