LAHORE: When I saw the presentation ceremony and heard Shahid Afridi speak, I asked myself, why is he apologising to the nation? The fact is that despite many serious obstacles our team managed to reach the semi-finals. Also, the team showed that cricket is perhaps the only binding force for our nation. I would say that Afridi should be told by all of us that he does not need to say sorry for anything — if anything, we should thank him and his team members for giving their best and making us all proud. Pakistan zindabad.
