Govr is seriously trying to solve energy crisis by adding 8,400MW to the national electricity grid at the end of 2018
RAWALPINDI: Load-shedding is an ongoing problem in Pakistan. The major cause behind it is the low level of water in dams, which has brought the complete load of electricity production to independent power producers and thermal power plants. Previous governments have not done anything for dams’ construction. Various political parties are also responsible for this energy crisis. As a result, Pakistan’s economy faces a big loss.
The current government is seriously trying to solve energy crisis by adding 8,400MW to the national electricity grid at the end of 2018 and increasing the total capacity by more than 20,000MW. If things go as planned, our industrial and agriculture sectors will begin to produce according to our needs, which will further lead to a decline in unemployment.
