Polio cases are finally seeing an end in Pakistan with almost 98% of the country being polio-free
LAHORE: Polio cases are finally seeing an end in Pakistan with almost 98pc of the country being polio-free. Such an achievement is commendable. However, a recent news report shows there is still need to work harder. Unidentified persons in Lahore brutally assaulted two female polio workers on duty a few weeks ago. Although we are quite close to seeing a polio-free Pakistan, we need to collectively raise our voice against such attacks and bring them on the forefront.
