There is a dire need to implement serious initiatives
KARACHI: The unhappiness of students in Pakistan is a vexing issue these days. Over the last few years, students have been facing a host of problems, such as psychological pressure from teachers and parents. This results in students being in a constant state of fear or panic. Due to this, they cannot focus on their studies and actively participate in the welfare of society as the education system produces empty minds and unskilled students with only high GPAs. It focuses on memorisation of facts, rather than producing creative minds or good citizens. There is a dire need to implement serious initiatives, such as mindfulness and meditation, and social work.
