The government should frame proper laws against child labour
KARACHI: Children are too young to join the workforce and labour as hard as they do. Many of them are abused and kept in cramped places. You can find child labour all around the city whether it is restaurant, it is a tyre or auto repair shop, or even an electrician’s shop. They can be seen labouring through their tender years.
When these tiny tots should be going to school and playing, their hands are overused and exploited by their employers, which causes mental, physical and moral harm to children. We find so many children enslaved in affluent houses, tea shops and factories doing menial jobs.
The government should frame proper laws against child labour and enforce these laws stringently.
