KARACHI: Students of Karachi University have been facing difficulties owing to a lack of proper shuttle service at the university. They walk from one department to another in the scorching heat. The campus is spread across a massive area, making it quite difficult to reach one’s department from the main gate of the university. And by the time students arrive at their respective departments they are so exhausted that they can’t focus on what is being taught in the classrooms. It is disappointing to note that universities with a smaller campus areas in the metropolis have functional shuttle services, while KU lacks this facility. The KU administration should introduce a shuttle service to facilitate its students.
