Pakistan will be playing a difficult team at a difficult venue.
ISLAMABAD: On March 30, Pakistan will be playing a difficult team at a difficult venue. We wanted India to be our opponents in the semi-finals because we have, mostly, done well against them when we have played them in India. However, there will be extra pressure on the boys when they will take the field and that too in India’s own backyard.
It is important that India ensures that no security issues crop up in the run-up to what is clearly going to be an epic match. There is bound to be much frenzy, passion and perhaps some fireworks. But we must pray and hope that these remain restricted to the field.
