It is the need of the hour that the freedom of electronic media should be defined clearly
KARACHI: The freedom of electronic media is producing many changes in our society. Foreign and other local channels are being shown openly through cable television networks. Most of these foreign programmes are related to fashion, glamour and sex. The moral values of our society are being destroyed through the freedom of electronic media. The young generation is becoming affected by the electronic media. They want to live in a world of imagination.
It is the need of the hour that the freedom of electronic media should be defined clearly so that positive results can be achieved through its use. Every private channel should play its constructive role in the development of knowledge and moral values in our society.
